Aurora Borealis

So are past students allowed to ask questions?

Well first off everything you are doing these days is amazing! I came across this and I loved reading your blog and looking at all the pictures. You are/were the best science teacher ever!! :)

I really just wanted to say hi, but I actually have a question. While in Alaska were you able to see the Aurora Borealis? My mother and I have been dying to go see it.

Your 5th grade Holy Name Student,

Labrador Retriever

Could my dog Bella a Labrador Retriever live in Alaska? Why I'm asking is because Bella likes to swim. In Alaska the body's of water are much colder than Florida and the sand is much different: rocky and hard...... Would the sand hurt her feet?
