Well first off everything you are doing these days is amazing! I came across this and I loved reading your blog and looking at all the pictures. You are/were the best science teacher ever!! :)
I really just wanted to say hi, but I actually have a question. While in Alaska were you able to see the Aurora Borealis? My mother and I have been dying to go see it.

Submitted by Guest on September 9, 2008 - 5:30pm.Could my dog Bella a Labrador Retriever live in Alaska? Why I'm asking is because Bella likes to swim. In Alaska the body's of water are much colder than Florida and the sand is much different: rocky and hard...... Would the sand hurt her feet?

If there are: What colors are they, How big are they also how big can they grow to, How do they survive in the icey waters, What are the names of the shark species, and if they there do they leave for warmer water during a certain season or month?
